Dear NEU/PSAC Members working with the Government of Nunavut:
The Nunavut Employees Union is pleased to share the complete ratification kit for our new collective agreement with the Employer, which can be found via our OneDrive folder here: GN RATIFICATION KIT - 2025
A summary of the improvements we have made is also available via the cover letters linked below.
The 130-page ratification kit is available in English at this time, while the summary is available in English and Inuktitut. We have been told the translations to Inuktitut and Inuinnaqtun of the ratification kit will take several weeks. We will notify our members when these are made available to us.
We held our first information session on this new agreement in Rankin Inlet yesterday, October 15 at the Turaarvik Inns North boardroom.
We are hosting two more in-person sessions in Rankin Inlet today, Thursday, October 17 from 6-8 PM and tomorrow, Friday, October 18 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Turaarvik as well.
Due to the nature of travel up North, we are still confirming meetings in other communities. All information about this will be posted to our website and social media as well as emailed to our members.
