Iqaluit, Nunavut (September 12, 2025) – The Government of Nunavut and the Nunavut Employees Union reached a tentative collective agreement on September 11, 2025.

This milestone reflects the commitment of both parties to work collaboratively toward a fair and balanced agreement that supports public service employees and the continued delivery of essential services across the territory.

The previous collective agreement expired on September 30, 2024. The newly negotiated agreement is now subject to ratification by both parties. Details of the agreement will be released once the ratification process is complete.
