The 2023 Arctic Winter Games (AWG) are underway in Wood Buffalo, Alberta. The NEU. along with the AWG Host Society, acknowledges Treaty 8 Terrıtory, ancestral and tradıtıonal land of the Cree, Dene and Metıs people. The NEU wishes all Nunavut athletes competing a personal/team best and thanks all the volunteers and hosts for making the games a possibility after it was postponed from March 2022 due to public health safety concerns.
