The monthly premium for the same policy under the PSAC Group Plan would be $12.75 a month or $153 annually. The saving is $447. Home and Auto Insurance Discount Program (Trafalgar Insurance): In comparison with individually negotiated home and auto insurance, NEU full members can conservatively save up to $300 annually. Credit Card (Bank of Montreal): NEU full members benefit from a free credit card registry, an automatic $250,000 travel accidental death and dismemberment policy and a 2% reduction in borrowing cost on credit card balances. Assuming an average $500 card balance, the interest reduction and benefits represent a saving of $30 a year. Scholarships: Four $1000 and twelve $300 bursaries- one to a student in each province and territory- are offered each year by the PSAC to children of Alliance members in good standing. Students leaving high school and entering their first year of university, college or territorial education are eligible.
